Dog treats and ‘puppoccinos’ will be on offer as part of the festivities

Sheffield is set to get a whole lot cuter this spring, thanks to a “pup up” cafe.

Yes, that is right. Not pop up, but pup up, because Revolucion de Cuba is hosting an event for sausage dog lovers and their fluffy friends.

Organisers Pup Up Cafe have arranged a day of fun on May 22, when owners, pups and Dachshund enthusiasts can all come together to party and make new pals.

Back for its third year, there’s lots in store to make sure its a ‘pawesome’ day all round.

Up to 50 dogs can attend each of the sessions, which will run from 10am til 5:30pm.

And attendees are welcome to cuddle the pooches, so long as they check permission with the owners first.

As well as getting all the belly rubs they desire, the pups will find themselves in doggy heaven with ball pits, tunnels, and toys galore.

There will also be unlimited dog treats and ‘puppoccinos’, and prizes will be given out to the best dressed Dachshunds.

Tickets cost £9 for dog owners and £12 for those without a furry friend. Children under 8 and dogs go free (dogs still need a ticket).

Anyone wishing to attend is advised to book in advance, with previous events selling out before the day.
