It’s going to be the most wholesome experience – you can bring your dog or go and meet them if you don’t have your own!

A pop-up dog cafe is returning to Southend-on-Sea this weekend, hosted by Revolution, on Queen’s Road. Pug and French Bulldog lovers can bring their pooches (or come and cuddle other people’s) at dedicated sessions this Sunday, July 31.

Between 10am and 11.30am, the bar and nightclub will be transformed into a pug-lover’s paradise, and from 12pm to 1.30pm it will be taken over by French Bulldogs. During the event, you can mingle with other dogs and their owners, as well as take part in competitions for the best-dressed dog.

There will be pug and French bulldog-related trade stands, as well as free puppuccinos available for the dogs all day. Photographers will be floating around taking photos of the dogs,

You have to book tickets in advance, as the events are often so popular they sell out fast. When you arrive at the event, the Pup Up Cafe™ team will check you in outside the venue. The team encourages everyone to arrive 15 minutes before their time slot and form a queue outside the venue.

It would be a great idea to bring along your ticket in any form (email/Fatsoma app/paper/eaten by dog) but they do also have all the details on their side so all you really need is yourself and memory of your name.

Your reserved time session will be at least one hour long. There will be lots of activities to take part in including puppuccinos at the bar, ball pits and tunnels for the dogs to play in plus lots of props for photo opportunities, dog treats, toys and much more.
