More than 100 tiny sausage dogs are expected at a one-off event in Leeds which is a must for anyone who owns or loves daschunds.

The Pup Up Cafe: Dachshund Edition is hosting a day full of doggy surprises when it arrives at Duke Studios this July, when dozens of cute daschunds will be weaving inbetween your feet.

There will be best-dressed competitions for any dashing dogs decked out in their finest accessories, loads of daschund-related treats on offer – and even specially prepared free ‘puppuccinos’ for the adorable pups.

The cafe has proven to be a huge success at other venues across the country, which prompted owner Marcus Ackford to venture further north for the all-day event on Saturday, July 13.

He said: “After much demand for a Pup Up Cafe to come the the North, we decided to visit Leeds!

“Hosting an event of our ever popular Pup Up Cafe: Dachshund Edition we can’t wait to come and meet the sausages of Leeds very soon!

“Get the sausages dressed in their best clothes and come and visit us on July 13th!”

It’s good news for our four-legged friends, as dogs go free between 10am and 4pm!

Children under the age of five also get free entry, but tickets for owners are £7 each (plus booking fee) and include a treat for your pooch.

If you don’t have a daschund but still want to pop along, then tickets will set you back £9, plus the booking fee.

They’re on sale now and are available here.
