Two festive dog events are coming to Plymouth this December as part of the Pup Up Café Christmas Tour 2025. The nationwide doggy event brings hundreds of pups together for a Christmas day out filled with puppuccinos and photo opportunities.

Hundreds of dogs in Christmas jumpers are heading to the Dashing Dachshund and Jingle Paws Christmas tour events on Saturday, December 6, at Capital DC Tiki Bar and Lounge. There will be multiple sessions throughout the day for Dachshunds – running from 10am – 1.30pm – and All Paws – running from 2pm – 3.30pm.

Each session is packed with festive fun, including a free Christmas present for every dog, Christmas photo opportunities and themed décor, unlimited free puppuccinos (with toppings!) and treats, ball pits, toys and tunnels for all the zoomies, prizes for the best dressed dogs and local dog businesses for all the Christmas shopping needs.

Founded in 2018, Pup Up Café runs nationwide breed-specific and “All Paws” – open to all friendly breeds – dog events designed to bring together local dog owners and communities. Pup Up Café has become a viral hit across the UK – last year’s Christmas Tour saw over 2,000 dogs attend.

Marcus Ackford, Founder of Pup Up Café, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing the Christmas Pup Up Cafe back to Plymouth – it’s been far too long! We’re based just up the road in Exeter and, as a Navy family, Plymouth has always felt close to home for us.

“The city always had such a great turnout and atmosphere at our events, so we can’t wait to see everyone (and their pups!) getting festive again this year. Whether it’s the Dachshund sessions or the All Paws ones, there’s nothing quite like seeing a room full of dogs in Christmas jumpers enjoying puppuccinos together, it’s pure joy.

“Christmas is our favourite time of year – the outfits, the community, and all the friendly dogs in one room make for the perfect festive mix. The energy is unreal and it’s impossible to leave without smiling, we love what we do every week.”

Now in its eighth year, Pup Up Café events have welcomed over 50,000 dogs across the UK, from tiny teacup pups to giant gentle giants and the Christmas Tour is always the highlight of the calendar.
