As part of their smash hit tour, Pup Up Café is returning to the Welsh capital with a dachshund-only event – this time with a spooky twist. Set for Brewhouse & Kitchen in the heart of Cardiff, sausages across the country are snapping up places, for what’s become one of the city’s most popular dog gatherings.

Scheduled for October, 25, the event will bring together dachshunds and their humans for a few hours of off-lead play, socialising, and seasonal fun. The Cardiff stop has seen more than 1,000 sausages pass through its doors since it launched seven years ago.

The Halloween edition includes all the usual Pup Up Cafe features, with far more treats than tricks. Expect a black flower wall, Halloween-themed props, and plenty of photo opportunities to capture the cutest October content.

A professional photographer will be there on the day, and there’ll even be prizes awarded for the best-dressed dogs in each session.

The venue will be fully dog-friendly, with a safe, secure, and staffed space for off-lead time. Pups can also enjoy unlimited puppuccinos and treats; plus a chance to freely play with toys, ball pits, and other furry friends.

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time.

Meanwhile, owners can take the opportunity to mingle with fellow sausage fans from the local area and beyond, as well as browse local dog-related businesses.

While dogs attend for free, tickets are required and space is first come, first served. With over 50 dachshunds already booked across the tour, early booking is advised.

Pup Up Café’s Hallo-ween event will be taking place on October, 25 from 10am to 1.30pm at Brewhouse & Kitchen in Pontcanna, Cardiff. Tickets are now available and can be purchased here.
